Jugendherberge Projekt

 

You are traveling to Germany and would like to find a place for you to stay that is inexpensive and allows you to experience the countryside rather than a big city.  Staying in a Jugendherberge (youth hostel) is an option for you.  You are to research the availability of Jugendherbergen in Germany and compare two different Jugendherbergen and decide which one you would like to use.

 

  1. You will be assigned a state in Germany.
  2. Go to the following web site (also linked on the German II page):   http://www.jugendherberge.de/de/jugendherbergen/suche/index.jsp
  3. Select your assigned state.
  4. Look at the different Jugendherbergen in your assigned state. 
  5. Choose two Jugendherbergen.
  6. Answer the questions about each Jugendherberge using the worksheet. 
  7. Make a brochure for one of the Jugendherbergen using Microsoft Word. 
  8. The brochure should follow the guidelines in the checklist and include the information from the worksheet.
